Allow Me to Re-Introduce Myself

Some of you may be coming to this blog from my previous site Home Trends Utah. I had an "About Me" post there. But if you are new to my blogs or we have not met I am so excited to have you as a new friend and I'd love to tell you a little about myself.

My name is Lea Leydsman, formerly Lea Pherribo. I'm 23 years old and I currently live in Provo, UT. Provo is a great place. It is beautiful and the people are kind and friendly and pretty. If there ever was such thing as a utopia...Provo would fit close to the description (you may be rolling your eyes Provo residents but you know it is true!).

I get to shack up with my hot hubby Nic. He is an amazing man. He is smarter than anyone else that I know and will make you laugh until your stomach hurts. He is sweet and kind and hard working. He's basically everything. I love him. He works for Adobe as an Account Executive and sells web analytics software to big shot companies (I kind of think he's a big deal). We've been married for a litte over 5 months and are still reveling in it if you havent been able to tell yet :).

My family is amazing and they're pretty hilarious too. I have two gorgeous sisters that are my best friends. I gotta tell ya, I really lucked out in getting to be a part of this family. We grew up in New Jersey and I am still very attached to my East Coast roots.

I'm Mormon. If you couldn't already tell from my wedding pictures at Temple Square. My religion is very important to me. It gives me strength, happiness, and puts life into perspective for me. If you want to find out more about Mormons, ask me! Trust me I've heard every question in the book. For whatever reason people think being a black Mormon is super weird so I am used to getting lots of questions and I'm happy to answer them! Back in Jersey I wasn't as open about my beliefs as I should have been and I regret it; so now I am so happy to share with anyone that will hear me. Or visit mormon.org, it's a great site.

Since we are on the topic of being Mormon, I went to college at Brigham Young University. I graduated in 2011 in Family Life Science with an emphasis in Interiors. I loved BYU and am still a huge fan...Go Cougars! After I graduated I continued working for the company I had been working for while in school called Shield Protection. I manage the call center there and obviously blog on the side.

So I think that about sums up my life right now. I'm glad I got to tell you about me and I want to hear about you! If we haven't leave me a comment about yourself and I'll be sure to respond!
