A little over a week ago I shared with you my every day makeup tutorial. This week I wanted to tell you about some of my favorite skincare and beauty products. These are products that you can find at any drug store or mall and for a relatively inexpensive price-tag. They are staples for me!
1. Neutrogena Makeup Removing Cleansing Cloths
I love this product because they do a great job of gently removing my daily make up. I have very sensitive and dry skin so it is important for me to use non-irritating products. These cloths wipe away your make up and also moisturize and cleanse your face. Best part is they do not require water and some nights I end up "washing my face" with these cloths while already in bed!
2. Cetaphil Facial Moisturizer
I love this product because it feels light on my face but is strong enough to fully moisturize my super dry skin. I have noticed a dramatic difference in the softness and feel of my skin since using it. I would recommend this to anyone with dry to normal skin. This might not be the best option for you ladies with oily skin. Another great thing is that it is super cheap and its a good amount of product. It will last me a couple months.
3. The Body Shop "Body Butter"
I highly, Highly, HIGHLY recommend this body butter. The fragrances smell yummy, it heals dry skin patches, and if you put it on right out of the shower it is not greasy at all. If you're a woman of color you will especially love this....go buy it NOW. I have found that you can find Body Butter on sale if you keep your eye out. A full priced jar is $16. I got 3 of the larger sized jars from Costco for only $19.99. It was the best deal ever! You can also find this at TJ Maxx on occasion for $5. My favorite fragrances are coconut and almond.
4. MAC Lip Glass/ Lipstick
One of the fastest ways to give your look a "pick-me-up" is to add a little color to your lips. If I roll out of bed and have to run some errands it is so easy to just throw on a pair of over-sized sunnies and a little lip gloss and you instantly look like you're put together. Finding a good every-day lip color is a must. Go to MAC and have one of their awesome make-up artists pick out a great shade for you. They do run a little pricey but they last forever so it is worth the investment.
